Straighten your teeth without anyone needing to know. Our Kenilworth practice includes your free consultation, 3D scan and retainers in the Invisalign price.
"I am a new patient at this practise. A good start was being able to book my appointment within the same week of joining. I was seen on time! No waiting. Nice people, good manner, warm and welcoming. Smiles from all who worked there (which is unusual) . For a dentist my experience was ever so nearly relaxing (as much as it can be with strangers poking about in ones month)."
Invisalign aligners are clear and fit closely over your teeth, so most people will not spot them at all.
Fixed and Vivera retainers are built into your quoted price, not charged as an extra once treatment finishes.
Dr Fuz holds a Master's degree in Restorative Dentistry from the University of Birmingham and treats patients here on Thursdays and Fridays.
We scan your teeth with our iTero scanner and show you how your smile should look at the end of treatment.
Under a mile from Kenilworth train station, with the 16, X16 and 24 buses stopping nearby and on-street parking close by.
from £270.83 per month
Starts from £3,490
From 12 weeks to 18 months
A digital scan of your teeth, used to plan your treatment and to show you a simulated image of your finished smile
Every aligner in your series, each one worn for two weeks to move your teeth a little further
Fixed retainers and clear Vivera retainers to hold your teeth in their new position
Nothing happens in a dental chair on your first visit. You sit down with our treatment coordinator for a full hour and talk about what bothers you when you look at your teeth. Crowding, a gap at the front, teeth that have shifted since you had braces as a teenager. Bring photos of smiles you like if that helps. Dr Fuz then joins you to look at your teeth and say honestly whether clear aligners will get you there.
No impression trays. Our iTero scanner runs over your teeth and builds a 3D model on screen in a few minutes. From that, we can produce your ClinCheck, the digital plan showing each tooth moving to its finished position, so you can watch it play through before you commit. There is a £250 fee for the ClinCheck animation, which comes off your treatment price if you go ahead.
You leave with a plan in writing. Number of aligners, how many months and the total cost. Ask us about spreading the cost. Take it home. Compare it with anywhere else in Warwickshire. Nobody will chase you.
Your aligners are made and shipped to us, and we call you in to fit them. We check every aligner seat properly, attach any small tooth-coloured attachments your plan needs, and hand over a case. Allow about an hour, and expect a fortnight of your teeth feeling tight as they start to move. That feeling is the treatment working.
After that, visits are short. We look at how your teeth are tracking against the plan and hand over your next sets. If you commute to Coventry, Warwick or Birmingham, ask about the 8:30 morning slot, or call to check which Saturdays we are open, as we open on select Saturdays throughout the year.
Teeth drift back. That is biology, not a fault in the treatment. So we bond a fixed retainer behind your front teeth and give you clear retainers to wear at night. Both are in the price you were quoted at step three.
Pennington Dental has been treating families from the same building on Kenilworth High Street for 26 years. Clear aligner treatment here is led by Dr Fuz Jamall, our Principal Dentist and Clinical Director, GDC number 76311. He holds a Master's degree in Restorative Dentistry from the University of Birmingham and is an accredited Foundation Dentist Trainer, which means newly qualified dentists spend their first year in practice learning under his supervision. You can check any UK dentist on the General Dental Council register before you book, and we would encourage it. Dr Fuz treats patients here on Thursdays and Fridays.
Invisalign treatment uses a series of clear aligners rather than brackets and wires. Each one is worn for around two weeks, then swapped for the next. Because there is nothing bonded across the front of your teeth, cleaning stays as easy as it is now, and there is no wire to catch a sandwich.
Adults make up most of the aligner cases we see. Some had braces as teenagers and stopped wearing their retainer. Others were put off orthodontics for years by the thought of metal at work. If you are somewhere in that group, a free consultation costs you an hour and nothing else.
We also offer Angel Aligner, another clear aligner system. You can read about it on our Angel Aligner page, and we will talk you through which system suits your teeth at your free consultation.
Aligners handle crooked teeth, crowding, gaps, overbite, underbite and crossbite. That is most of what walks through the door. Mild cases can finish in 12 weeks. More involved ones run up to 18 months. We will not put a number on it over the phone, because it depends on how far each tooth has to travel.
They are not right for everyone. Some bites need fixed braces to get a proper result, and a few need work before any teeth start moving. If that is you, we will say so at the consultation rather than take a deposit and hope. The NHS has a plain guide to braces and orthodontics if you want a neutral view of the alternatives. Worth knowing that NHS orthodontics is generally limited to under 18s with a clinical need, so adult aligner treatment in Kenilworth is a private cost either way.
If your teeth are reasonably straight and the problem is shape, colour or a chipped edge, aligners may be the wrong tool. Composite bonding can reshape a tooth in a single visit, and many patients finish their aligners with teeth whitening once everything is in position. We will talk you through both, even where they cost us less than a full aligner case.
We are at 37 High Street in old Kenilworth, close to Abbey Fields. Look for the royal blue front door. The station is under a mile away, so you can walk it from the train, and the 16, X16 and 24 buses stop nearby if you are travelling in from Coventry or Stratford-upon-Avon. There is on-street parking close by.
Invisalign treatment means short visits spread over months rather than one long appointment, so the journey matters. We are open 8:30 to 17:30 Monday to Friday and on select Saturdays throughout the year (please call to check).
We also see patients from Warwick, Leamington Spa, Balsall Common and the villages around us. Opening times, a map and a virtual tour of reception and the surgeries are on our practice location page.
People put teeth straightening off for years because they dislike the chair, and questions about cost and appearance are easier to ask sitting in a normal room.
Invisalign treatment starts from £3,490. The exact figure depends on how far your teeth need to move, so we give you a written price at your free consultation. If you would like a ClinCheck animation of your planned treatment, there is a £250 fee, which comes off your treatment price if you go ahead.
Yes. You get a 60-minute appointment with our treatment coordinator, then a check with your dentist. There is no charge and no obligation to book treatment afterwards.
Clear aligner treatment at our Kenilworth practice is led by Dr Fuz Jamall, our Principal Dentist and Clinical Director, GDC number 76311. He is at the Kenilworth practice on Thursdays and Fridays and holds a Master's degree in Restorative Dentistry from the University of Birmingham.
They are included. Your quoted price covers fixed retainers and clear retainers once your treatment finishes. Retainers matter because teeth will drift back without them.
You will need short appointments throughout your treatment so we can check progress and hand over your next aligners. We are open 8:30 to 17:30 Monday to Friday and on select Saturdays throughout the year (please call to check), which suits patients travelling back from Coventry, Warwick or Birmingham.
There is on-street parking near the practice on the High Street. If you would rather not drive, Kenilworth train station is under a mile away, and the 16, X16 and 24 buses stop close by.
Yes, though we will check your teeth and gums first. Aligners put gentle pressure on your teeth, so any decay or gum problems need treating before you start. We will tell you clearly what needs doing and what it costs.
Most people will not. The aligners are clear and sit closely over your teeth. You can also take them out for an hour or two for a wedding, an interview or a photo, as long as you get back to 22 hours of wear a day.
Send us your details and we will contact you to arrange a date and time for your appointment
