What are dentures?

At Pennington Dental in Kenilworth and Stratford we know that having missing teeth is more than just an aesthetic issue. Missing teeth can cause problems with your speech and the foods you are able to eat, and it can even change the shape of your facial structure. All of this combined can cause damage to self confidence, which can affect your everyday life.

Having a beautiful, functional solution to missing teeth is vital, which is why we are pleased to offer our patients a variety of private and NHS denture treatment options.

Dentures are removable false teeth that fit over your gums and act as a replacement to missing teeth. Each set of dentures is completely unique to their owner, meaning that your dentures will only fit you. We work in close collaboration with our dental laboratory to ensure the dentures we provide you are beautiful and natural looking to give you back your smile, functional to allow you eat as normal, and comfortable for all-day wear.

Do i need complete or partial dentures?

At Pennington Dental, we provide complete and partial dentures. The treatment you receive will be dependent on your individual needs and this will be fully explained during your initial consultation.

If all of the teeth are missing, or need to be removed, this is when a complete denture is required. This could be a complete upper denture, a complete lower denture, or both. If just one or a few teeth are missing, we can fit you with a partial denture instead.
