Most people who ask us about cosmetic treatment have one thing on their mind. It might be a chipped front tooth, a gap you have always noticed or a shade that has dulled over the years.

At your first visit, you talk it through with us in a relaxed, non-clinical room. Your dentist then checks your teeth in the surgery and explains what could work for you. That might be treatment to brighten your smile, reshape chipped or uneven teeth or cover several concerns at once. Treatments often work well together, such as whitening first and then bonding matched to your new shade.

Afterwards, you get a written plan showing the timescale and every fee, with no hidden extras added later. A selection of our treatment prices is published online as starting prices, and we can go through ways to spread the cost.

Cosmetic treatment works best on healthy teeth and gums, so we may suggest a hygiene appointment before your treatment begins.

Composite bonding is a quick way to repair a chipped edge, close a small gap or even out a tooth that looks smaller than its neighbours.

Your dentist shapes tooth-coloured resin straight onto the tooth, matches it to your natural shade and polishes it smooth. There is no drilling or filing, and the result is finished in a single appointment.

Bonding is often the finishing touch after teeth straightening, once your teeth are in line. If you would like a lighter shade as well, we may suggest teeth whitening first so the bonding can be matched to your new shade.

We are pleased to provide teeth straightening treatment with Smilelign, a UK-manufactured clear aligner system.

Using a system of crystal clear aligners to gently straighten your teeth, Smilelign is effective and affordable. No brackets or wires are used with the Smilelign system, meaning that your treatment will be discreet, comfortable, and removable.

You will simply wear a series of clear aligners that fit over your teeth. Each one will apply pressure to move your teeth into the desired position over time. The aligners should be worn for 22 hours per day and should be removed for eating, drinking, and cleaning.

Teeth whitening lifts the stains left by food, drink, smoking and age. The shape of your teeth stays exactly the same, so the result looks natural.

We check that your teeth and gums are healthy before you begin. Our dental lab then makes whitening trays to fit your teeth, and you wear them at home with a gel prescribed by your dentist. The gel contains desensitisers to help with the sensitivity whitening can cause.

You can whiten overnight, so treatment fits around work and family life. After two weeks, we see you again to compare your shade with your starting photos.

Porcelain veneers suit people with more than one concern, such as stubborn stains, chipped or crooked-looking teeth and small gaps.

Each veneer is a thin shell made in our dental lab to fit over the front of a tooth. Before anything is fitted for good, you try your veneers in, and we can adjust the shape or shade until you are happy.

Veneers involve removing a small amount of enamel, so the treatment cannot be reversed. At your free cosmetic consultation, we will go through gentler alternatives too, so you can decide with all the facts in front of you.
